Database Developer / Analyst - Las Vegas, NV - Full-time / Part-time

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will build and maintain a database that houses standard work audit data
The database will interact with various other applications including but not limited to Smartsheet, Excel and Access
This database of the developed and implemented standard work and its associated step / elements will allow for the ability to query the data to see trends in adherence or non-compliance in order to implement more targeted improvement efforts
This position will develop reporting tools and methods from the database to be utilized by Operational and Clinical leadership in addition to the Achieving Clinical Excellence (ACE) department
This position will also assist with data analysis and presentation for new and ongoing improvement activities to document the current state and changes to metrics after improvement activity

Required Qualifications:

Senior level experience with MS Access including Database Design, Development and Maintenance
Senior level experience with MS Excel
Professional experience creating database queries including SQL queries
Previous experience establishing ad-hoc reporting capabilities for end users
Willing and able to complete training in Lean Methodology during the first 12 months of employment
Ability to present data to end users both visually and verbally
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous employment with UnitedHealth Group or subsidiary
Undergraduate Degree
Healthcare industry experience
Experience in Lean Process Improvement Methodology
Previous experience with Smartsheet
