Primary  Responsibilities:

Manage tasks in a project plan, report out on status weekly through weekly status reporting and meetings; track issues and risks; identify mitigation plans to risks and document contingency plans
Identify and collaborate with impacted business areas that require operational readiness for the Enterprise Preferences Management Program (EPMP) business deployments; then identify, track and manage the operational readiness tasks for the EPMP
Bring forward a readiness plan (user onboarding, training, and communication plan, and deployment support, post deployment support) to roll out a new enterprise tool that will be used to manage preference categories across the organization; then execute upon that plan supporting the business roll out of the new administrative tool to the organization
Monitor the business deployment from an operational readiness perspective for the UHC and Optum businesses to ensure successful deployment outcome
Track the results of the deployment through metric reporting and monitoring and provide lessons learned so that future deployments improve effectiveness
Oversees various deliverables and timelines to ensure tasks align with deliverable dates, both within the program and with dependent programs
Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g. key performance indicators, scope definition)
Builds out strategies for new business operational areas as new features and capabilities are created to serve our consumers
Works with business operations to document and solve for operational challenges brought on by new features and capabilities
Ensures operational readiness for new features and capabilities that will serve our consumers through the build out of effective business process flows, training, and development of operational metrics, deployment support and transition plans to stead state
Builds out contingency plans for various phases of the project
Partners with Organizational Change Management resource to ensure enterprise communication plan encompasses all impacted business areas
Builds out success criteria that is measurable
Develop business value stories and cost benefit analysis for assessment by Leadership
Develop, communicate and implement project risk/issue management plans and strategies
Effectively facilitates meetings, coordinating agenda development, note taking and meeting recaps (including kickoff meetings, requirements gathering meetings, weekly program status meetings, etc.)
Liaisons & coordinates with stakeholders, Project Managers for codependent programs and work streams, along with other cross functional groups
Leads the stakeholder communication plan and provides status updates to management for internal and external consumption on a regular interval

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


BA/BS or equivalent education and experience

5+ years of business related experience

5+ years of project management experience

Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects and continue to monitor and make changes to work as the project needs dictate

Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Must be able to work in Minnetonka or Eden Prairie office
Preferred Qualifications:


Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership

Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects that include both IT/capability build and business operations/process deliverables

Proven ability to quickly gain credibility, influence and partner with business stakeholders; must possess strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects and be self-directed and motivated

Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project

Intermediate level of proficiency with SharePoint
