The Project Consultant for Rational CLM & Automation is a critical position that will project manage the onboarding of the different SDLC teams onto the Rational CLM toolset and support delivery of test automation.
 
This critical role is responsible for the timely adoption of the CLM (Rational Doors Next Generation, Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager) and reducing the risk of failure.
 
Providing training, assisting with implementing customizations and generating reports is also expected. This role will further define and execute the process for provisioning user accounts for working with our cloud hosting vendor for maintenance and access, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
 
The successful candidate will also be familiar with the principles of test automation and be able to coordinate test execution with multiple release schedules, technology stacks and applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, measure and report on project plans and provide status
Working with the IT infrastructure teams, define and build out user account provisioning and de-provisioning processes for the Rational CLM
Manage software license and cloud hosting  usage
Partner with IT leaders to coordinate onboarding and training for SDLCs
Manage a backlog of change requests and ensure implementation
Train new users, maintain a library of training collateral and leverage tools like SharePoint and Wikis to distribute information and build knowledge
Create dashboards and reports.
Coordinate with various SQA and Development leaders to define and execute automated tests
Support and report on funding allocation and utilization on projects
Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality.
Ensure quality processes and deliverables on schedule
Identify risks and bottleneck and work with counterparts to resolve issues that hinders the progress of activities

Requirements

Required:

5+ years Project Management experience with teams distributed across geographies
5+ years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience including familiarity with test automation
3+ years of experience using one or more or the Rational CLM tools
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required
Strong Communication skills across multiple levels of management and teams.
 
Preferred:


Experience working with Rational Team Concert
Preferred to have healthcare IT and or PBM experience
Experience with test automation tools
Agile and DevOps experience
Providing training, assisting with implementing customizations and generating reports
