The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Jimboy’s Tacos restaurant in accordance with all company policies.

The Manager is responsible to ensure a clean, pleasant, friendly and safe environment for the customer and the employees.

The Manager helps the General Manager drive the financial success of the restaurant by improving top line sales, executing the marketing plan, minimizing costs and maximizing profitability while always providing excellent customer service along with maintaining the reputation of the Company. The Manager must be available to respond to emergencies at any time.

Manager Job duties include:

• Manages and motivates team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
• Will work a maximum of a 40 hour work week unless otherwise specified.
• Will work peak shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ensures high-quality food, beverages and excellent customer service is provided to all customers.
• Assists in managing inventory levels and makes decisions about inventory control.
• Assists in reviewing and controlling all costs particularly food and labor costs to Corporate standards.
• Uses procedures and point of sales (registers) to record daily sales and other key information.
• Effectively handles and escalates as appropriate all staffing issues. Assists Store Manager with interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, reviews, training, dismissal, recommends or initiates promotions, transfers and disciplinary action.
• Ensures standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met.
• Responds to and resolves customer complaints and comments in a quick and professional manner.
• Assists in organizing sales promotions, displays and events.
• Handles and escalates as appropriate all immediate and necessary needs associated with daily operations of the restaurant.
• Continually seeks and initiates suggestions for changes to improve business.
• Is knowledgeable of, interprets, and enforces all company policies and procedures.
• Assists in generating work schedules, directs the store workforce, reviews and approves the hours of work for payroll and ensures that no one works off the clock and that any overtime worked is authorized and paid.
• Ensures that all cash handling policies and procedures are followed and all bank deposits are made.
• Assists in ensuring that all product orders are prepared and submitted on time. Reconciles delivery invoices against the orders submitted product delivered.
• Ensures that all reports, including payroll, are completed correctly and submitted on time.
• Ensures compliance with all Federal and State regulations, including postings.
• Supports and executes all marketing activities.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Has a minimum of 1 year experience in restaurant management.
• Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fast food and QSR industry
• Strong leadership skills and possesses the ability to train a diverse staff
• Effectively makes decisions and resolve problems
• Knowledge of cost control such as labor cost and food cost
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
• Knowledge of labor laws and health codes.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
• Must possess Food Handler's Certificate, or obtain within the first month of receiving position.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Read, speak, and write English clearly.
• Being self-motivated and having strong attention to detail are essential traits.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the Senior Team Leader is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
