This position works from the Corporate Office located in Newton Highlands, MA and reports to the HR Operations Supervisor and HR Talent Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting full life-cycle recruiting including; sourcing, requisition management, job offer administration, coordination of pre-employment drug and background screens and the onboarding of newly hired Team Members. In addition to the administrative responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a key resource in the development of the Company’s strategic approach to identifying, attracting and onboarding top talent and efficiently and effectively meet the dynamic staffing needs of a rapidly growing company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering applicant and employee requests and questions
  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Tracks progress in selection pipeline, including offer, acceptance and drug/background check status  
  • Coordinates  drug/background check process with 3rd partner vendor, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and approves offers
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as online job postings, career days, community networking events, social media outreach etc.
  • Develops advertising and promotional campaigns(internal and external)  to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Develops and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers and external vendor partners to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to track progress of interview and  selection process
  • Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (UltiPro Recruitment)
  • Produces reports and analysis on applicant trends and turnover data
  • Completes other HR administrative duties and functions as assigned
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree and/or comparable work experience in Administrative or Human Resources function
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively collaborate and work with others toward common goals
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert Microsoft office skills. Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills; prioritizes and uses time effectively
  • Accuracy and thoroughness. Monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Ability to identify and execute creative strategies for recruiting new talent
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment. Manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
