About this job
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining site specific common areas while meeting quality and timeliness standards. A Common Area Attendant must ensure he or she follows the company mission statement and values at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
QUALITY
o Maintain a high standard of excellence
o Ensure storage closet and equipment are stocked, clean and organized
o Report area maintenance issues as per company procedure
o Walk all assigned buildings or floors to ensure all are free of trash or equipment
o Report lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper
o Able to move furniture as directed
o Trained to properly use all special equipment for common area surfaces
o Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
TIMELINESS
o Willing and able to perform duties directed by the Executive Housekeeper
o Demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure duties are completed on time
o Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments and appointments
BUDGET
o Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
o Perform inventories of supplies and equipment
CUSTOMER SERVICE
o Assist in solving guest complaints promptly
o Create strong, positive customer relations
o Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners
o Knowledgeable of the resort
KEY BEHAVIORAL FACTORS:
o A passion for cleanliness
o Strong work ethic
o Self motivated and monitored
o Work irregular hours
