Laundry - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for consistently meeting laundry quality and timeliness standards to support the housekeeping operations. A Laundry Attendant must ensure he / she follows company mission statement and values.


Main Responsibilities:

QUALITY
o Maintain a high standard of excellence
o Stock and maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
o Unload soiled laundry from trucks/vans
o Open and separate bundles of soiled laundry
o Lift to load / unload wet / dry laundry into laundry machines
o Add specified amount of detergent or other cleaning agents in machines as directed
o Start / stop laundry machines
o Clean dirt and debris from machines after each load
o Sort, fold, and stack dry laundry as directed
o Place folded and stacked laundry in specified storage bins
o Use laundry reclaim procedures on heavily soiled laundry
o Perform light maintenance on laundry machines and equipment as directed
o Report maintenance issues as per company procedure
o Report lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper
o Assist in inventory counts as directed
o Be knowledgeable of all laundry cleaning processes, equipment, and safety procedures
o Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office

TIMELINESS
o Willing and able to perform any and all duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper
o Maintain a sense of urgency so laundry is finished and delivered on time
o Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments and appointments

BUDGET
o Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
o Assist in linen and supplies inventories as directed

CUSTOMER SERVICE
o Create strong, positive customer relations
o Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners
o Knowledgeable of the resort
