Description
We take pride in our restaurant and the products we serve and our Dishwasher play an important role in that process. Our Dishwashers are 100% responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.
Requirements
● Maintain a Guest focus AND a positive attitude while performing all duties to insure “NO UNHAPPY GUESTS, NOT EVEN ONE”
● Communicates clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
● Knowledge of basic dish machine operations including set-up and breakdown
● Assumes 100% responsibility for cleanliness of dishes, glassware tableware, pans, utensils, etc.
● Lift and place loaded racks of dishes, glassware, tableware and cooking utensils into dish machine and remove same from the dish machine
● Wash pots, pans and trays by hand when necessary
● Remove loaded trash cans to dock area and empty into dumpster
● Clean floors at end of night
● Comply with all company guidelines regarding Food Safety and Personal Safety
● Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, floors and all equipment in dish area
● Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
● Assists in other areas of the kitchen and restaurant performing maintenance, cleanliness and/or other duties as assigned
● Opens and/or closes the dish area properly and follows the appropriate procedures for dish area set-up, breakdown, and cleanliness.
● Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
● Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
