Job Summary:Demonstrates a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and exceptional customer service. Deli Team Associates are responsible for operating the deli by following TFS policies and procedures as directed by the Deli Manager and through the tasks below.
Job Hours: TD's deli hours of operation

Specific Responsibilities:

Focus on customer service as the #1 priority by providing exceptional customer service.
1. Follows TFS procedures, including but not limited to food preparation, portion control and product guidelines. Prepares products, including baked goods, made to order and prepared foods, such as sandwiches, soups, dinners, breakfast, etc. .

2. Conducts food preparation, which includes but is not limited to food toppings, grab and go sandwiches, salads, and dinners as well as slicing meats, cheeses and produce. Stocks and replenishes the deli cases and sub units as needed or instructed

3. Complies with all TFS policies, rules and regulations.

4. Follows all food safety, allergen and sanitation regulations and adheres to safe work practices.

5. Maintains department signage and pricing. .

6. Uses the Manager's Red Book to complete duties and communicate between shifts.
7. Understands where to access information on pricing, PLU codes, product portion control and guidelines, , baking etc.

8. Assists deli team with sampling by offering products to customers to taste.

9. Assists with maintaining fresh, neat and fully stocked displays for customers, including properly rotating product while checking and ensuring freshness and quality of product.

10. Operates, cleans and sanitizes deli equipment in a safe and proper manner. This includes cleaning of entire department and customer areas.

11. Other duties may be assigned by management as required.
