UnitedHealthCare National Accounts is seeking a highly qualified administrative professional to support the Regional Vice President and approximately 22 sales account representatives.  This individual must be organized, articulate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills using multiple communication channels. 
Primary Responsibilities: 

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to converse with a variety of levels of professionals and executives within and outside of the organization
Creates and modifies various client facing documents and presentations using Microsoft Office
Maintains Outlook calendar(s) in current and accurate status
Supports preparation for external client meetings and also internal executive briefings
Coordinates meetings and conference calls as needed or anticipated
Coordinates travel arrangements as needed
Answer phones promptly and uses good judgment to prioritize the distribution of messages in a timely manner
Prepares meeting materials and assists with the development of PowerPoint presentations including Excel spreadsheets and charts
Responsible for keeping inventory of all office supplies and placing orders for replenishment as needed
Records minutes at various meetings and archives them accordingly
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Works well in a team environment with some shared department responsibilities assigned
Works with in-house and external print and mail vendors to ensure delivery of accurate sales materials to customers within tight deadlines 
Prepares and monitors expense reports
Purchases supplies and equipment and manages gift inventory
Schedules interviews for prospective employees and handles onboarding new hires

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
Ability to work from Hartford, CT office
3 + years of experience supporting Senior Level Managers and Executives
templates

Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Adobe PRO, Excel and Windows 7 applications, including the ability to both create and reformat existing slides from other presentations and hand written notes into existing templates
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Ariba, Concur and Outlook as well as burning CDs and Flash Drives
Experience within UnitedHealth
Experience supporting higher management in a corporate organization
Soft Skills:

Experience in a role requiring the ability to be proactive and work in a fast paced environment
Experience in a role requiring excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities from a variety of individuals
Experience in a role requiring the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time with attention to detail to deliver successful results within tight deadlines
