JOB SUMMARY.  The Heavenly Sr. Marketing Coordinator is a critical position within the Heavenly Marketing team. The position incorporates a wide range of responsibilities covering advertising, branding, resort merchandising, product development, events, and cross-functional relationships within the marketing team and the resort operations teams The position requires extensive project management and organization skills, demonstrated multi-tasking ability, knowledge of the creative development and production processes, and communication/interpersonal relationship skills.  This is a dynamic and high-energy leadership position in the organization that is at the center of driving/creating business results, promoting the brand, and bringing Heavenly brand to life on the mountain.

 

ADVERTISING PLANNING/EXECUTION.  Coordinate the creative development process, production and trafficking of various marketing and brand related advertising.  Production management of all projects including but not limited to resort brochures, print, digital and video, event/resort flyers, and resort signage.  Provide leadership and coordination of outside vendor services in the creative development, production and distribution of various collateral materials.

 

CREATIVE PROCESS OVERSIGHT.  Arrange and schedule all necessary meetings required during creative process (ie, brainstorming, concept, agency mtgs., etc.), draft advertising creative briefs, and develop tracking processes to guide concept development through execution. 

 

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT.  Oversee and manage the production fulfillment for all creative projects to include advertising, merchandising collateral, and events.  Responsible for communicating and coordinating all specifications, sizes, content, and logistical delivery.

 

RESORT UPSELL.  Work directly with resort business units to drive revenue with Ski & Ride School, Mountain Dining, Retail, and Lodging through resort promotional opportunities.  Oversee and manage the production and deployment of all promotional and merchandising collateral including but not limited to on-mountain distribution, in-town distribution and third-party distribution.  Responsible for accurately logging various creative executions and specific locations where those pieces are posted, rotating locations and changing creative executions as needed.

 

BUDGET MANAGEMENT.  Responsible for operating within the approved budget guidelines, generating Purchase Orders, properly coding expenses, and receiving of all invoices immediately after services and/or products are received.  Works directly with Heavenly Marketing Admin to accurately record all financial transactions within the budget accounting system.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS.  Works directly with the Heavenly Marketing team across different marketing disciplines, projects, events and communications.  Works directly with all resort operational teams to execute marketing initiatives to include Mountain Operations, Ski & Ride School, Mountain Dining, Retail, Lodging, and the Sign Shop.
