Receiving/Shipping Specialist

Leading global supplier of telecom hardware and engineering services for data, wireless, cable, and wireline networks is looking for a dynamic Receiving/Shipping Specialist(RSS) to join their growing team.

The RSS is responsible for inbound and outbound order processing and coordinates with the Sales and Logistics groups in order to arrange same-day, quick turn shipments that meet the customers’ needs in every respect.

DUTIES:

• Purchase order prioritization
• Inventorying of equipment
• Receipt of equipment for stock, repair, and testing, order fulfillment, quality review, packaging, palletizing and shipping
• Print, prioritize and complete purchase orders
• Verify correct items and serial numbers
• Perform product quality reviews
• Utilize relative packaging techniques
• Update orders in system database and ship orders via parcel and LTL carriers
• Sort and segregate large buys, putting like part numbers together and reporting on what needs to be received by part number, condition and quantity

• Must have previous receiving experience
• Previous supervisory experience a plus
