Client in Tempe is hiring for an Accounting Assistant, main responsibilities are A/P.
This is a temp to hire position paying to $15.00 to start, pay increase to $16.00 upon hire.
Company is an HVAC Contractor
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable processing for subcontractors and suppliers
- Accounts Payable processing for subcontractors and suppliers on credit card
- Accounts Payable statement reconciliations
- Vendor invoice dispute resolutions
- Supplier W9/certificate of insurance compliance
- Process year-end 1099 MISC and 1099 INT
- General administrative tasks as necessary (filing, copying, faxing, shipping, greeting guests etc.)
- Various project support
- Order office supplies
- Various Human Resource duties
- Distribute mail and handle outgoing mail daily
- Contact vendors to obtain any missing invoices/paperwork for completed work orders
- Basic Accounts Receivable collections – back up – sending out invoices to client
- Send out or submit online client billing based upon client’s needs (on a fill in basis only)
- Other tasks as deemed necessary
