POSITION PURPOSE -

Home Depot is integrating Interline's businesses with Home Depot’s. We are searching for a dynamic individual to own Interline IT Integration deliverables. As a member of the Interline team, you will contribute to and execute the strategic roadmap to provide a unified experience to THD and Interline customers, and integrate a unified customer experience across companies. You will be working on programs like selling THD products across Interline platforms, accepting Interline House Accounts at THD, selling Interline products across THD platforms, leveraging unified data and customer experiences, and driving infrastructure, network, and security solutions.

The primary function of an Integration Manager for this role is to coordinate across multiple product teams in order to create new products and features on behalf of customers: working cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, conducting interviews and workshops to ensure that user stories are captured, documented, and prioritized in various product backlogs, defining & analyzing success metrics, and diving deep into business operations to understand how to integrate Interline’s and Home Depot’s customer experiences, and to continually explore potential improvements. Key responsibilities to include acting as the business owner of the customer experience products, driving the Home Depot IT transformation, leveraging Pivotal Tracker, and solving problems in partnership with numerous Product Managers.

Agile development knowledge is critical for this specific role as the Interline Integration Manager can potentially act as Product Owner/Manager or Scrum Master depending on the project’s needs.


QUALIFICATIONS -

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred plus 3-5 years of experience in related field 
* Proven track record of executing complicated products by collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Experience using problem solving and analytical skills to solve business problems
* Presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
* Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; bias for action
* Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
* Verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
* Demonstrated ability to engage, communicate with, and influence senior executives
* Experience leading development teams leveraging agile and/or XP (extreme programming) methodologies


Preferred Qualifications
* Customer service oriented and ability to work closely with product managers.
* Business judgment and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary
* Agile development knowledge. Prior Product Manager experience including understanding customers needs, writing user stories, prioritizing work based on value delivery.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -

Builds relationship with key user and store operation groups to identify and resolve business issues. Manages system development and support activities to meet user needs in a timely and cost effective manner while ensuring the right things get done as per the governance process. Manages and tracks the progress of multiple development projects. Project management and administration that include work plans, projtrac, resource planning and control, writing status reports, and preparing annual budgets. Communicates status of development design to supervisors and end users. Selects, develops and motivates assigned staff. NATURE AND SCOPE - Typically reports to a Director, Senior Manager, or Vice President. Typically have supervisory responsibilities for Engineers or Specialists at all levels. Typically requires frequent persuasion or influencing of others. Typically procedures for analyzing situations and making conclusions are diverse. Typically considers among many different options or procedures when solving problems Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.



ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

Must be eighteen years of age or older. ? Must pass the Drug Test. ? Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses.


EDUCATION REQUIRED -

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - 1-2 years of experience in a leader/ team lead capacity


. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES - Knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes. Expert proficiency with the Home Depot software architecture, methodology, and governance process. People leadership/supervisory skills Technical skills may include experience with one or more of: UNIX, Informix, COBOL, JAVA, Catalyst WMS and YMS, Korn Shell Scripting, Novell, Netware, nnet, Sequelink, TSO/ISPF/MVS, DB2/SQL, JCL, CSP, CICS TCP/IP, Visual Basic, Networking, and LAN administration.
