Senior Analyst, Data Scientist - Full-time / Part-time

Job Duties:

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to define business problems and establish data mining objectives

· Bring structure to large data sets to identify rich data sources

· Design and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights

· Offer interpretation of analytical findings or recommend solutions relative to the strategic objectives of the project or company

· Partner with development team building data warehouse and data integration architectures and tools

· Frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and extract insights that led to tangible results

· Apply statistical methodologies and algorithms to model and uncover patterns amongst data set

· Synthesize results to generate actionable insights that are aligned with key business objectives

· Communicate strategic recommendations to inform and influence functional road maps

Position Requirements:

· Master's in Computer Science, Math or related quantitative field (or BS/BA in Computer Science, Math or related quantitative field)

· 5 years of data mining experience

· Microsoft Office Suite

· Familiarity with statistical software packages (SAS, R, SPSS, etc.)

· Ability to import, merge, cleanse, model, and test large, often incongruous, data sets
