After-school Educators, Program Managers & Recess Coaches - Part-time

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, dynamic people to join our team of educators and coaches that provide high quality before, during and after school programs throughout Chicago, Evanston, Fremont, Grayslake, LaGrange and Itasca, IL! 

Our enrichment staff works with elementary age children in the school setting. Site staff is responsible for providing safe, engaging and meaningful in-school and extracurricular programs to enrich the lives of students, give parents peace of mind, and enable schools to focus on their academic mission.

We are currently seeking Program Managers, Before & After-school Educators and Recess Coaches.  All positions are part time; however candidates might have the option of working multiple sessions per day.

Program Manager Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Must be able to manage, coach and develop the after-school staff
• Must be able to work with school administration, parents and PTA to ensure successful delivery of programs
• Provide assistance to Area Manager
• Must love working with children
• Some college coursework preferred
• Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and possess strong planning skills

After-school Educators Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Must be able to provide leadership and deliver curriculum in an exciting way
• Must possess a natural passion for working with children
• Previous experience leading or instructing groups of school-age children required
• 30 college credit hours with 6 semester hours in child care/education or 1560 hours of experience working with school-age children with 6 semester hours in childcare/ education preferred

Recess Coach Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Must be able to manage a group of up to 50 students per recess period
• Manage and organize materials for all activities
• Must participate in on-going professional development
• Must love working with children
• Must possess playground management skills
• Must possess an ability to adapt and respond to unexpected situations

All positions require 100% dependability!  First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.  Bilingual is also a plus.
