What we're looking for:

A digital Xerox iGen operator who has the added pre-press skills necessary to take a customer's job from submitted file to printed product.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience operating a Xerox iGen 150 Digital Press is a must. Must be either Xerox certified or have several years' experience operating and maintaining a Xerox iGen
  • Impose, color correct and troubleshoot files for press production using applications including; Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Quite Imposing & Pit Stop
  • A basic understanding of finishing operations to avoid bindery issues
  • Process and maintain client’s current and archived files
  • Setup up variable data projects using appropriate software and workflow
  • Setup DVD/CD templates and masters, and perform disk output
  • Quality check print files for color, content, size
  • Provide hardcopy or PDF proof to client
  • Setup digital press as needed following order specifications
  • Operate digital press equipment to produce quality printed product
  • Quality check printed product for color, content, size, print quality, quantity
  • Perform maintenance, calibration and color profiling on digital press equipment
  • Trouble-shoot and resolve print quality issues
  • Makes calls to service technicians when necessary, and maintain service log
  • Perform bindery and finish work including cutting product to finish size and functions such as coil binding, saddle stitching and folding
  • Attention to detail, flexibility and good decision-making skills
  • Any additional duties assigned as needed


Requirements:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Printshop Mail, the Adobe Creative Suite, Quite Imposing, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Pit Stop
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired
  • Flexible schedule and open availability


Day Shift

Pay Rate: $15/hr
