As part of our team you will get to learn everything from Prep to Pizza, and learn to teach and train your replacement in each station; while greeting guests and directly contributing to the awesomeness we call food in our restaurant. You will be expected to be on your feet working while clocked in, and when not busy, finding tasks to do that better our restaurant; like cleaning, running food, answering phones, or aiding your team member in a prep task.

 

 

 

In addition to following GAPCo's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Food Preparation * Following recipes accurately and maintaining food preparation processes such as cooking, marinating, seasoning, and grilling meats; chopping herbs; dicing, cutting, and slicing meats and veggies * Completing food preparation assignments accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion

  • Making fresh pizza to order, fast, while maintaining the highest standard of appearance of our food 
  • Preparing food throughout the day as needed to our prep sheet, anticipating and reacting to customer volume
  • Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels on the line
  • Maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while preparing and cooking food

 

 

 

 Customer Experience

  • Providing genuine, friendly, quality customer service to each customer
  • Preparing great food that is hot, fresh, and looks amazing
  • Maintaining a clean work space and guest dining area

 

 

 

Miscellaneous * Consistently and accurately using prep sheets, Weekly cleaning duties, station cleanliness list, and station checklists * Following GAPCo cleanliness standards including washing cookware and utensils throughout the day * Cleaning equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion according to GAPCo Procedure guidelines

  • Using Teamwork to create the best guest experience possible

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will:

* Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant employees and work as part of a team by helping others as needed or requested * Have the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees * Have the ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments * Be able to exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, and provide exceptional customer service * Be able to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency * Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu * Be able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines * Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the pizza, kitchen and line * Have the ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location

 

 

At GAPCo we have multiple job titles for our employees but all of our Team may need to fill the role of dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, prep cook, etc. so be prepared to learn a lot and work hard if you join our team. We are hiring for entry level positions as most of the management positions we have are filled internally but there are some exceptions.
