The Team Members are the core of everything we do here.   They are our representative to the guests, the first impression and the key to providing a quality dining experience.  They assist and guide the guest to create an outstanding product they will be delighted to come back for again and again.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hold the guest as the most important priority at all times
  • Communicate guests feedback to restaurant management
  • Educate guests on products offered
  • Resolve guest concerns with respect and a sense of urgency
  • Adhere to all uniform and grooming standards
  • Take accountability for understanding all in store marketing promotions
  • Execute new product rollouts including selling to guests and product execution
  • Understand and complies with all procedures and policies
  • Assist in training of new crew members
  • Prepare quality finished products efficiently per recipe manual standards
  • Restock food line and cooler
  • Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards, including wearing a clean uniform

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
  • Ability to stand/walk for approximately 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to follow directions from management
  • Must have an Illinois food handler's certificate or obtain an Illinois food handler's certificate within 30 days of employment.

 

The assistant manager is responsible for the successful day to day operations of the restaurant.  They are in the absence of the General Manager they are responsible for the safety, security and well-being of the restaurant and the employees and guests within.  They are to make sound business decisions leading to increased profitably for the restaurant.  They are involved in all aspects of the business assisting the General Manager.  They have the authority to discipline employees when needed and recommend termination.  They have the responsibility to coach, teach and mentor the team to service excellence, identifying talent and building upon for our future leaders.  They need to have an unswerving dedication to standards, policies and procedures. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train, coach and develop Crew Members and Shift Supervisors
  • Contribute to Crew Member and Shift Supervisor performance appraisals
  • Know, enforce, and educate on all of the appropriate personnel policies, labor laws, and security and safety procedures
  • Assist with the hiring and retention of Crew Members and Shift Supervisors
  • Create effective schedules
  • Make customers really happy by providing great customer service
  • Effectively handle customer complaints
  • Maintain critical standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary environment by assigning daily cleaning duties and follow-up
  • Properly executes, enforces and manages all food safety requirements and practices
  • Enforce and maintain uniform policy
  • Ensure store security and safety by executing procedures properly
  • Control food components, labor, waste, and cash across shifts
  • Count drawers and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Maintain appropriate inventory and place store orders
