Order Pulling/Order Picker Warehouse Associates - Full-time / Part-time

Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for the accurate pulling, checking, packing, and sending of merchandise. Complete all work assignments consistent with warehouse mission statement.

Essential Job Functions
Check in with Warehouse Manager or Assistant Warehouse Manager each morning to verify assignment
Keep assigned work area clean and neatly organized at all times.
Arrive on time and ready to work each morning
Take and return from all breaks including lunch as per assigned schedule
Report all injuries to manager & Human Resources on day of event
Carefully handle all product to avoid injury to self and/or damage to the product
Special projects as needed

Pulling

• Pull all invoices accurately and efficiently

• Read all messages on invoices, check for shipping method and other special instructions

• For delivery orders be aware of the Cut-Off Time printed at the bottom of the pulling stickers

• Write your puller number on all invoices, scan each invoice to add your puller number to the AS400

• Verify each bin location and part number on product matches that on the invoice

• Verify quantity pulled matches quantity ordered

• Make sure all product has an SSF Barcode label

• Report all missing or damaged product to warehouse manager

• Place pulled invoices and product on correct table for checking and packing

Checking & Packing

• Verify that invoice is on the correct packing table

• Read all invoice messages and verify shipping method/delivery address

• Scan the complete order to verify that the correct part numbers and quantities have been pulled

• Make sure the product is in sellable condition

• Inspect all body parts, sheet metal and lenses (headlight, tailight, etc.)

• Write your checker number on all invoices

• Pack the product for delivery and label each item with address sticker that includes route/run info

• Place completed order in box or tote for driver

• Separate yellow copy from invoice, place in basket; shuttled orders pull top white copy instead and include tracking copy (from laser printer).

• Place remaining white copies on route clipboard for driver

• Check all arriving shuttle orders against Arrival Manifest to make sure all orders have arrived – distribute to correct routes or will call
