JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Human Resource director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function.
Essential Functions of the Human Resources Director:
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures agency s compliance. Maintains responsibility for agency compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. Communicates changes in agency personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
Continuous improvement of policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters
Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation
Coordinates with legal counsel as appropriate on personnel matters.
Works directly with branch managers to assist personnel matters
Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the agency.
Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets personnel information needs
