Time Warner Cable's Sales Department currently seeks a Lead Retail Sales Specialist. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Purpose:

The Retail Sales team is the foundation of a customer’s experience at the TWC Retail stores. We enhance people’s lives through meaningful conversations about TWC products and services. They earn trust by offering products that meet people’s needs and give them control in ways that are simple and easy. The purpose of this position is to provide an exemplary customer experience while utilizing needs based selling techniques to close leads and maximize customer retention

Key Responsibilities:

•Handle reconciliation of all cashiers receipts and prepare the daily deposit.

•Prepare daily and monthly reports from the register and ad hoc requests from Coordinator or Supervisor.

•Verify previous day’s deposits and drop of all monetary bags, complete mid-day deposits, close out cash bags and prepare documents for Rapid pick-up.

•Issue change to cashiers as needed and ensure sufficient change is in safe to cover next day’s needs, close out credit card machine.

•Maintain daily staff attendance record and forward information to appropriate AR records representative

•Review daily break and lunch schedules based on staffing levels and make appropriate changes and ensure staff adheres to schedule.

•Review and ensure converter equipment order has been placed, check equipment tech pool and research any outstanding issues, ensure end of day converter equipment is verified and equipment inventory is submitted, verify that security video tape is changed daily.

•Report the status of daily work issues to the Supervisor and/or Coordinator.

•Work as a cashier when required.

Qualifications/Skill Set:

•Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

•Good mathematical skills and organizational skills.

•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

•Effectively speak before groups of customers or employees of organization.

•Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

•Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

•Must be able to analyze staffing equipment and customer traffic appropriately to superior.

Education/Experience:

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) necessary.

•Minimum of one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
