Position Summary:


The Pallet Receiving/Bill Signer Group Lead will be responsible for the Carrier Bills, QV/QC Checklists and the integrity of the Packets daily. The Pallet Receiving/Bill Signer Group Lead will also work in direct contact with the Pallet Receiving Supervisor and the RCO Supervisor to control and to insure that the bill signing process is correct with no discrepancies. The Group Lead will follow up on all WM based reports and damages daily. The Group Lead should also have basic knowledge of ORRS and OE2.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Train Bill Signers
  • Completing old bills
  • Track dates when requesting new BOL’s from RCO
  • Review QV/QC Checklists and QV/QC Checklist errors
  • Collect incomplete QV/QC Checklists for each shift
  • Handle Trouble, Flat Breakdown, and Unscheduled emails
  • Follow up on green seal trailers and paperwork, verify in ORRS if the trailer is collect or prepaid prior to loading green seal
  • Follow up on damages on the receiving docks daily
  • Verify that the OS&D forms are properly filled out
Qualifications:
  • Basic math and problem solving skills.
  • Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a high performance team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Experience:
  • 0-2 years WMS (Warehouse Management System), Jasper, and Dematic preferred
  • 1-2 years PC experience needed (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing / bending / lifting throughout the work day.
  • Frequent exposure to dust, high levels of noise and moving machinery.
