About this job

You are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the dining room. To clean and reset all the tables in the dining room and take all used tableware, glasses and plates to the dish area. As a primary member of the front of the house (and restaurant) team, you have the opportunity to greatly influence the quality of our guest's experience.
* You are responsible for completing the corresponding checklist to ensure the proper set up, maintenance, and breakdown of the entire dining room.
* Maintaining the area of the restaurant assigned at the beginning of each shift.
* Removing used tableware between courses and providing tableware for the next course.
* Following the appropriate restroom check every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
* Responding appropriately to guest requests and communicating guest requests to a server as needed.
* Communicating with the servers, hostess and bartender to assist them and assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
* Assisting the servers as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak hours.
* Thank guests as they are leaving.
* Completing your weekly cleaning duties.
* Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant including the floors, tables, chairs, and walls of the restaurant.
* Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
