SERVER
Punch Bowl Social is looking for a qualified individual to join their team as Server. This person will be hardworking, dedicated, and experienced in guest relations and high-volume restaurant scenarios.


Punch Bowl Social Food & Drink is a restaurant, bar, and entertainment concept being developed nationwide. With six existing locations (Austin, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Portland and Schaumburg), Nation's Restaurant News has named us one of the ‘2015 Break Out Brands'.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS
1. Enthusiastically greet guests, answer questions about the food and beverage menu. Make suggestions as appropriate.
2. Deliver food and drinks to guests using PBS team delivery system.
3. Interact verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
4. Observe guests and respond to any additional requests. Escalate issues as necessary to MOD.
5. Present guest check to each table and accept a form of payment. Make correct change and/or complete the proper charge card procedure.
6. Actively participate in assigned opening, continuous, and closing side work.
7. Participates in clearing and resetting of tables.
8. Re-stock service items that support team service (glasses, ice, expo, garnishes etc.).
9. Participate in rolling silverware.
10. Check and ensure the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a routine basis.
11. Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
1. Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off of the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
2. Transport plates, glasses and baskets to and from dining room, service bar and the kitchen.
3. Good reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
4. Transport glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds numerous times throughout the shift.
5. Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment safely.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
1. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for period up to four (4) hours in length.
2. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 50 pounds.
3. Mobility required during the entire shift.
