Description

Production Supervisor

Is based in our facility in Victorville, CA.

Start time is 10 p.m. Must be flexible on scheduled to meet production needs.

Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

The Production Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of production personnel engaged in packaging beverage products for storage & shipment, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation on multiple high speed production lines.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Be a role model and advocate for Safety as #1 plant and company priority
  2. Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines
  3. Manage within labor and operating expense budget
  4. Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste
  5. Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site
  6. Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record
  7. Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times
  8. Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement
  9. Make recommendations for long term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability
  10. Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability
  11. Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
  12. Must be committed to fostering positive employee relations and engagement

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • 2 years previous management/supervisory experience
  • Pass a drug test, criminal background, verifiable employment verification, social security checks
  • Work flexible shifts, weekend and overtime as business needs
