POSITION PURPOSE
Home Depot Interiors is responsible for the Sales and Manufacturing of premium Kitchen and Bath remodeling products offered in over 45 major markets. The Project Coordinator is responsible for and meeting with the customer following the initial sale. Meeting with the customer inside the home, they will take the necessary measurements and review the layout/specifications of the sales order to determine if any changes to the contract are required before ordering the product. In addition, they will complete inspections of jobs following the installation to ensure quality. They will also be responsible for contacting and meeting with customers to complete an assessment in cases where we have not met the customer's expectations. 

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contacts customer to schedule appointment to meet with them in their home.
  • Completes an accurate measurement of the customer's kitchen and/or bath within seven days of the date of contract. Maintains an accuracy rate of 95 % or higher. Reviews agreements and other documents with the customer for accuracy and completeness.
  • Audits all paperwork to ensure job has been calculated correctly and all materials required to complete the job are included prior to submitting to Installation Manager. Complete a recast (comparison between SA contract and actual work needed to be performed).
  • Orders the materials needed to complete the job.
  • Schedules and completes job inspections as required.
  • Contacts those customers to resolve issues where we have not satisfied the customer.
  • Other job duties as assigned by manage

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion. 

TRAVEL
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Age: 18 Must pass drug and background tests. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. 

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE -1 

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge or experience in the home improvement or construction industry is preferred. Must be able to pass a Lead Safety class and receive certification from an accredited school on RRP Lead Safety. Able to multi-task, strong organizational skills, initiative to complete tasks with little or no direction, self-motivated. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
* Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings. 
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal). 
* Basic to intermediate computer skills. 
* Ability to use tape measure and interpret various measurements. 
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; keep accurate records and follow-up as necessary to complete customer's job accurately and on time. 
* Good interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills. 
* Must pass and drug and background tests. 
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle as well as the required insurance. 
* Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
