A successful Social Media Brand Manager will have/be the following:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant agency or client side role required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field required; MBA preferred; or equivalent combination of educationand experience. Experience managing a substantial budget and delivering results on a consistent basis. Familiarity with different attribution platforms and their benefits (Adometry experience a plus)
  • Desire to win the business every single day with a strategic mindset, and passion for innovation and agile responsiveness.
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Radian6 and other social media platforms strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically and quickly and to learn and act quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking. Proven experience in working directly with senior leadership teams with excellent attention to detail, creativity, motivation and communication skills.

The Social Media Brand Manager will be the central point of contact for internal and external partners and departments for social media. Taking a holistic approach to end-to-end digital marketing this role must be organized and eager to bridge across multiple groups to maintain the best practices and overall consistency of Dish Marketing.  

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Serve as strategic digital marketing lead with oversight of all paid and unpaid campaigns within Dish’s social media channels; focused entirely on new customer acquisition. Lead multi-faceted and integrated advertising campaigns, working closely with media buying & planning agency.
  • Create intricate performance driven media plan strategies across all platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet). Lead and participate hands-on in the development, execution, and management of paid digital campaigns using 1st party Dish DMP data and 3rd party data sources.
  • Drive direct response acquisition KPI’s including CPA, CTR, conversions, and ROI. Deliver reporting and insight that accurately measures channel performance on a weekly through annual basis. Actively seek innovative solutions to compliment traditional marketing plans. Support the implementation of innovative, cost effective digital activities into marketing and promotional teams. Generate brand awareness via top funnel media focused on reach, and measured by down funnel impact on sales. Provide detailed analytic reports to the team on performance insights and trends in order to evaluate campaign effectiveness, propose new and optimized tests.
  • Collaborate with Brand team on the development of engaging, impactful/disruptive, and relevant creative while ensuring they are digitally optimized across all relevant platforms. Drive campaign optimization by testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and shifting resources to top performing campaign elements. Share best practices and provide consultation to cross functional marketing groups including DishLatino, Sling, Dish International, DishNet and others.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization and coordination skills in partnering with programming networks such as FOX, NBCU, Scripps, HBO & many others to drive an ongoing content calendar.
  • Effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis. Coordinate on-site integration with tools, 3rd party partners, and digital media creative elements.
