Lead Security Engineer - Endpoint Protection

Position Purpose:
The Home Depot is seeking a Lead Security Engineer (SecOps, EPP). This position will focus on providing advanced engineering support for broad range End Point Protection related tools and technologies, including but not limited to McAfee AV, Web Gateway, SEP, FIM, and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with security tools such as, McAfee WebGateway, McAfee AV, SEP, Tripwire, and other like services.
• 7 years working within Information Technology and 5 years specifically in Information Security
• Designed and implemented enterprise security controls in the Retail or E-Commerce industries.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include and not limited to Anti/Virus, File Integrity Monitoring, Data Loss Prevention,
• Strong organization skills and personal framework for consistency, accuracy and repeatable deliverables
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal, team player for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to drive key initiatives, with minimal direction with strong interpersonal and client service skills
• Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration, innovation, creativity and teamwork, analytical capabilities
• Strong problem solving skills, providing solutions in a systematic and clear manner, easily understood and followed by subordinates and colleagues
• A major security certification is preferred (CISSP or equivalent)

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• 20%-Collaborate with others to understand processes, procedures, applications, technologies
• 20%-Drive application and technology compliance with corporate and regulatory policies/standards & industry best practices
• 20%-Design and develop programs to improve security standards, processes, procedures and solutions; transfer knowledge to Sr. Engineers and Operational Tier 1 and Tier 2 Analyst roles
• 20%-Participate in project work; perform security specific project tasks; lead large work streams
• 20%-Lead and coordinate the activities of others within IT Security

Nature and Scope: Position Reports to Manager, Information Technology This position has no Direct Reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eighteen years of age or older. 
Must pass the Drug Test. 
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED. 

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Direct hands-on experience with one or more of the following InfoSec solutions: Anti-Virus, intrusion detection, firewalls, content filtering, risk assessment. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:  
Assessment tools, technologies and methods. 
Designing secure network, systems and application architectures. 
Disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods. 
Planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures. 
System administration role with experience in supporting multiple platforms/application
