Composite Technician Dept. 306 - Full-time / Part-time

This is a temp to hire position.

Utah County company is looking for an employee who is hard working, willing to learn new techniques.
Responsible for fabricating aircraft water and waste tank in accordance with technical specifications. Position will assemble composite parts using epoxy resins, carbon, and structural adhesives.
 Will be trained and be responsible for any of the duties: conducting lay-up procedures, trim and bonding and winding.
Blends seven chemical of resin
Monitors heating and cooling of the resin
Records SPC data in the computer
Makes bags for resin storage
Stores resin in the freezer.
Kits chemicals for mixing
 
Will lift 50 lbs on a regularly basics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Perform operations documented in the manufacturing orders and work instructions.
 Check work performed visually and identify if a product is completed correctly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Previous manufacturing/assembly experience is a plus.
Must be able and willing to follow all shop and safety rules.
  Able to read, learn and follow multiple processes and procedures as they pertain to the manufacturing process.
Able to use necessary tools and measuring devices as they pertain to the different steps of the manufacturing process.
Ability to meet production rate expectations.
Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product is completed correctly.
Education and/or Experience :                      
High School or Equivalent
