Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Direct Sales Supervisor to supervise a team of Direct Sales Representatives in a manner which contributes to team effectiveness and supports the company’s objectives. The objectives are to gain customers, increase property level PSU penetration, provide a high quality service, project a positive company image, operate in the most cost-effective manner possible, high performance, revenue growth, and maintain competitive advantage.

Essential Job Functions:
• Work in the field daily on a rotating or as needed basis.
• Complete Field Evaluations and report findings to management.
• Spend time in office on rotating basis with other supervisors.
• Ensure that team meets or exceeds weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales and penetration goals as determined by management, other related objectives may be added that maximize product penetration.
• Work directly with Direct Sales Leadership to establish individual goals, objectives and action plans designed to attain company, departmental, and personal objectives.
• Responsible for dissemination of information, responsibilities and assignments to sales team as directed by management.
• Ensure all Representatives maintain a customer friendly and professional image and conduct themselves accordingly.
• Ensure all Representatives sell in accordance with properly authorized company policies.
• Submit new strategies, ideas and suggestions for meeting budget expectations whenever possible and applicable to management.
• Provide information to management on the results of sales and provide feedback from the public on promotional campaigns.
• Assist management to ensure proper market coverage. Inspect unworkable addresses returned by the sales staff, such as vacants, voids and deletes.
• Coordinate and facilitate missed or problem installations with sales reps, customers and technical department.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by management.
• Interview and evaluate potential candidates for the Direct Sales Staff.

Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Management or Marketing preferred. High school diploma required.

Experience/Skills Required:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience and/or leadership experience. Position requires a thorough knowledge of the cable product as well as some technical knowledge of a cable system. Position requires motivational skills, training skills, analytical and organizational skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have good working knowledge of PC’s, MS Office Suite products and ICOMs cable billing system.

Travel requirements and Frequency:
• Primarily in system location and to the division headquarters. Travel throughout division’s footprint may occasionally be required
• Must own vehicle to use for work, requiring a valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of auto insurance

Legal or Financial Responsibilities:

-Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.

Communication Skill level:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
