Commit to thorough and accurate managing of our customer's benefit plans
Ideal profile:
- Construction/industrial Human Resources Background
- 75-250 employees handled
- EXCELLENT microsoft excel skills, as well as powerpoint
Responsibilities:
- Administer Company's benefit program
- Conduct benefit analyses on an annual basis
- Research, propose, and implement an automated solution for benefits
- Educate employees on benefit offerings
- Track and manage FMLA
- Develop and establish wellness program
- Lead annual open enrollment efforts
- Collaborate with the broker on benefit administration
- Process Workers Compensation claims with insurance carrier
- Serve as a central customer service contact for benefit and HR related questions
- Serve as a contact ensuring HRIS is current and accurate including
ongoing data maintenance and regular report preparation - Reconcile benefit invoices and reports
- Provide back-up support to Payroll (cross-training)
- Assist with special projects on other HR topics
- Other projects as assigned
The HR Generalist adheres to the administration of company policies and procedures while assisting employees. Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) with uncompromising commitment to data accuracy and customer service.
Candidate needs to have superb verbal and written communication skills, be very organized, experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and be able to work well with a diversified work force in multiple states.
