Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Automation Personnel Services is seeking assemblers for a lighting company in Marietta, GA. The candidate will assemble industrial skylights using clamps, clamping tables, air powered drills, and screw guns. The individual would also install gasketing material and sometimes run caulk on skylights. If that individual is on the smoke vent line they would be assembling specialty skylights using basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc.) air tools (air ratchets, drills, etc.) and possibly assisting in testing the unit prior to shipping always with the guidance and supervision of more experienced personnel. All employees are required to work in a safe manner, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and to assist in maintaining the shops tools and equipment. Employees will be required to lift aluminum framed skylights weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally galvanized skylights weighing up to 45 pounds. Good quality work shoes or boots are required (steel toes are not required), long pants (preferably jeans) are also required. Poorly fitting, baggy, and/or loose clothing is not acceptable. Ear buds or similar devices are not acceptable. Protective gear in the form of hearing and respiratory protection, gloves and safety glasses will be provided as needed. Candidates may provide their own if they so chooses (provided the gear chosen is compliant with OSHA and ANSI standards).
Pay rate is $11.00 an hour for an assembler.
The schedule for this position is 7: 30 am to 4: 00 pm Monday thru Friday. There is rarely any overtime.
