Position Summary
The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Senior HRMS Developer for our PeopleSoft HCM/CRM Application Support Team in our IT Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.


Essential Job Functions: Utilizing PeopleSoft technical development experience in implementing, upgrading, modifying, and configuring the PeopleSoft HCM/CRM systems and their sub-modules, the Senior HRMS Developer will be responsible for working with Business Analysts and Business Leads in determining the requirements and design of enhancements and providing technical services to solve root cause of break/fix incidents and bug fixes. The Senior HRMS Developer will also work with other internal and external clients to provide technical solutions to business needs.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an IT related field with 6-8 years of experience in an application development environment with 5-7 years of experience in PeopleSoft development; Prior analytical and technical experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.x or higher and PeopleTools 8.5x or higher is required; Knowledge of and experience with development principles and methodologies; Strong Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM suite including, but not limited to, core Human Resources, Benefits and North America payroll; Knowledge of CRM HR Help Desk business functions from a technical perspective, and knowledge of the HR and Finance business areas a plus; Knowledge of PeopleSoft products and tools that can be applied using various development techniques, methods and processes (e.g. Application Designer, PeopleCode, Data Mover, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, Application Package, XML Publisher, App Messaging, etc.); Ability to develop both minor and major enhancements and/or work from technical specification documents; Proven working knowledge of basic database concepts and tuning methods; Strong SQL and SQR skills; Good troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve production issues in a reasonable timeframe; Strong analytical skills; Ability to review compare reports, perform changes and testing on Application and Tools upgrades; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to define requirements, assess value and interface effectively with business partners; Previous experience in writing UNIX shell scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:
This position requires, but is not limited to, a broad knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM, Benefits Administration, North American Payroll along with CRM Help Desk; The ability to work across departments; The ability to learn new application requirements and disseminate that knowledge to users; Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials and integration with HCM

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
