Ingredient Procurement Specialist needed with previous food and beverage purchasing experience required!
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in food purchasing
Responsible for all aspects of purchasing ingredients on behalf of client.
Duties Include:
- purchase ingredients in compliance with product regulations
- determine appropriate raw material stock levels
- obtain and analyze market information from various sources
- maintain appropriate purchasing records
- report costs for inventory and pricing purposes
- Maintain good working relationships with vendors
- resolve problems related to vendor quality or performance
- Interact with manufacturing, sales and technical departments
