Quality Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Local company looking for quality engineer:

• Identify issues negatively impacting first pass yield (FPY).
• Provide assistance in the investigation of root cause of quality defects in bond panel production, composites machining, paint, and assembly.
• Apply quality engineering tools (RCA, PFMEA, product conformity audits, 5-Whys, etc.) to find the source of problems.
• Assist the supplier in developing counter-measures, conduct follow-up activities, and verify their implementation.
• Conduct product and process audits to determine compliance to the engineering, planning, and quality procedures.
• Participate in control builds and 'deep dives' in problem areas.
• Report project status to Supply Chain Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Engineering
• Five or more years of experience
• AS 9100
• Aerospace or Defense experience
