2nd Shift Production Set-Up - Full-time / Part-time

Our Client in Westfield Indiana is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Set-up associate.

MATERIAL HANDLER DUTIES:
*Setup - Facilitate the movement of raw goods or sub assemblies from storage when needed for Manufacturing via replenishments or manual requests.
*Performing required transactions to support.
*Setup - Facilitate the movement of raw goods throughout the line as well as Finished Goods from the line based on Schedules or Customer Order.
*Outbound - Verify all pertinent information on each order and apply paperwork accordingly. Apply any additional customer required labels where needed.
*General - Maintain good material handling, safety, housekeeping, and storage practice per company policy.
*General - Perform other essential functions assigned by management based on company need.

MATERIAL HANDLER SKILLS
*Skill in the proper and safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
*Skill in the use of a computer terminal.
*Skill in written English, sufficient to read, work orders, BOM''s and PDS''s.
*Skills in communications, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information that is essential to perform the job.
*Maintain a positive atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES / REQUIREMENTS
*Balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, pushing, lifting, seeing, observing, grasping, repetitive motion, ability to flex to other positions as needed to perform all essential duties listed above without creating a direct threat to oneself or others.
*Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force frequently, up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Knowledge of practices and procedures of a material/inventory control operation.
*Knowledge of material control safety policies and procedures.
*Must have a valid driver''s license.
*Ability to multitask under pressure.
*Good written and verbal communication skills.
*Basic computer skills to process production receiving and shipping data.

Salary is $12.00/hr
