About this job
- Assists Forklift Operator with Loading/unloading onto or from trucks, and moves pipe within yard, performing any combination of following duties:
- Follows oral instructions to identify pipe to be moved.
- Verifies heat numbers, quantity, and completes chalking. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Observe necessary safety precautions for stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.
- Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
- Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager.
Qaulifications:
- Accustomed to working in an outside environment
- Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Committed to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation
- Positive attitude and a good team member
- Wiling to reliably fulfill the designated work schedule inclusive of overtime
- Bilingual Spanish is a PLUS!
