In this visible and critical hands-on role, you will lead a team of Project/Program Managers and Scrum Masters who manage complex client-facing engagements for large-scale infrastructure focused initiatives. You will be part of a program team of cross functional experts mobilized to address critical requests generated from both internal and external sources. You will enable and support the adoption of our agile Transformation Delivery Framework (TDF) by closely collaborating with our application partners to deliver quality solutions tailored to meet the functionality, speed, cost, and flexibility for our customers.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinates, supervises, and accountable for the daily activities of project management staff
Sets priorities for the team
Coordinates work activities with other supervisors
Monitors and manages staff performance
Develop, coach, and mentor staff
Resolve conflicts
Working with limited direction, lead a matrixed team of Project / Program managers, Scrum Masters, system design engineers, system build engineers and infrastructure technologists to successfully deliver multiple concurrent infrastructure changes in a large-scale enterprise environment
Manages artifacts, decisions, communications metrics and reporting (status and Financial) at the Program level
Provide oversight of the delivery plan across the teams within a program
Creates Program-level status reporting for Senior Leadership and Key Stakeholders, and serves as the focal point for issues and escalations
Works with Finance and Procurement on financial and purchasing aspects of major initiatives
Builds relationships with the Infrastructure Account Management team and Application Program leads to understand the pipeline and prioritize work activities to meet business goals
Meet customer and project objectives by developing and leading project execution functions including planning, tracking, reporting, reviews, quality management and communications, risks, and issues within the construct of the Agile Technology Delivery Framework
Predict, understand, and document customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
Delegate, integrate activities, and resolve conflicts
Complete assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
Develop and maintain infrastructure and resource cost estimates
Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Interact with and report regularly to executive project sponsors, and senior technology leadership
Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches when appropriate
Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined standard infrastructure solutions, platforms and best practices
Ensure the infrastructure adheres to the requirements for availability, stability, and efficiency
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of Technology - based Project Management experience at a Fortune 200 company

8+ years of Project or Program Management experience integrating multiple business areas or systems

8+ years of experience across multiple information systems disciplines demonstrating strong technical acumen and infrastructure technology experience

2+ years Agile methodology and delivery experience

3+ years of experience with budget tracking and complex cost benefit analysis

3+ years of experience managing and leading staff

Proficiency in computer software including MSWord, Project, Power Point, Excel

Proven experience leading multiple, concurrent IT projects / programs

Previous infrastructure technology experience such as server, network, security and data center infrastructure, for application, middleware, database and web environments
Preferred Qualifications:


Healthcare technology background

Exposure to multiple project management methodologies

PMP certification

Excellent critical thinking skills, analytical ability, and problem analysis techniques
