Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses/planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization.Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge with Retrospective Recovery Operations data and workflow.  Ability to assess potential impact of an upstream change in strategy, product, or a parallel process and proactively solution for downstream process impacts which would include identifying new value streams.Technical Process subject matter expert for data analysis, reporting, and development of workflow solutions that assist the Retrospective Recovery Operations team with administration and monitoring of all operational processes'.Work in conjunction with other team members, effectively communicating issues that may arise and collaborating with others to eliminate barriers. Constantly allowing for knowledge transfer and growth of each member through coaching and demonstration or sharing of technical/process knowledge.Expertise to problem solve for situations that may fall outside of the traditional support provided.  Ability to understand the core reasons and provide a plan for resolution.Work in conjunction with our health plans and healthcare economics to understand our claim spend and prevailing patterns.  Assess current tools and determine if we are able to mitigate trend or if it will require additional analytics and innovative solutioning.Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet themSolves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the businessParticipates in the development of business strategyDevelops and manages business plans to achieve objectivesLeads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectivesTranslates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiencesInfluences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approachesMay have segment-wide impactDirects cross-functional and/or cross-segment teamsLead team meetings, project meetings and requirements gathering for projects as assigned.Ensures that departmental policies and procedures (SOP’s) are created and maintained.Maintain inter-departmental relationships with all internal operational  departments, remediates  disparities, and  drives process improvement.Responsible for hiring and onboarding new staff which includes coordinating and/or providing  the proper operational involvement/training.Leads the development of recommendations and overall design requirements and/or business requirements.  Maintains standards of quality through the administration of a quality assurance program which is inclusive of both financial and procedural components. Utilizes quality & production metrics to coach employees which drives overall improvement within the department.  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED 5+ years process & people management experience 5+ years Claims or Recovery Services experience 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Vlookups) 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Word (document creation), Outlook (emails and calendar invites), and PowerPoint (presentation creation) 3+ years of Data Analysis experience  Preferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher)  UNET or Pulse Platform experience  Project management experience  Soft Skills: Professional Verbal and Written Skills Analytical Mindset Leadership Skills Careers with UnitedHealthcare. Let's talk about opportunity.
