Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers. Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries. *Employees in jobs labeled with ?SCA? must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.Primary Responsibilities:


Maintains timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions  
Consistently meets established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards. 
Proactively seeks to further develop billing and accounts receivable competencies.
Keeps management abreast of all outstanding issues. 
Adapts procedures, processes, and techniques to meet the more complex position requirements. 
Participates in load balancing. 
Addresses special (ad-hoc) projects as appropriate. 
Seeks involvement in continuous quality improvement initiatives. 
Ensures quality customer service for internal and external customers. .

This position consists of taking in bound calls, making outbound calls from provider referrals, e-mailing members, supporting health educators, and assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned. 

Attention to detail and accuracy are required. 

Multi-phone line experience preferred. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work independently. 

Sales experience or knowledge helpful. 

Great customer service skills and ability to engage customers required. 

This position also requires some lifting. 

Medical assistance certification preferred.

Requirements

Requirements:



HS Diploma or GED 
1+ years of experience working in a call center environment
1+ years of experience in Customer Service
1+ years of MS Word (creating documents); MS Excel (sorting, data entry, creating a spreadsheet); and MS PowerPoint (creating a basic presentation)
A current MA certification or the ability to obtain it within the first year of hire. 
Assets: 


1+ years of experience in the Healthcare Industry 
Soft Skills: 


Customer Service Skills
Good communications skills both verbal and written

Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
