Our Customer Service teams have a serious responsibility to make every contact informative, productive, positive, and memorable for what it says about how much we care.
Employees in this position include those responsible for initial Triage of members, Administrative Intake of members or managing the Admission/discharge information post-notification, and working with hospitals and the Clinical team. Function includes managing Incoming calls, managing requests for services from Providers/members, providing information on available Network services and transferring members as appropriate to Clinical staff. Also manages the Referrals process, processes Incoming and Outgoing Referrals, and Prior Authorizations. This function also includes Intake, Notification and Census roles.
Primary Responsibilities:

Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining good attendance.
Drafting of NOA/NOE letters for government and Commercial Specific clients.
Responsible for ensuring the letter documentation meets client, regulatory and accreditation requirements. 
Knowledge of the State and Federal regulations concerning the services and benefits.
Must demonstrate understanding of the program by selecting the correct letter template
Other duties as assigned by manager and/or director

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



High School Diploma/GED.

2+ years of professional experience in an office/Customer Service environment.

2+ years of professional experience in Clerical or Administrator work.

1+ year of experience with Medical Terminology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Computer proficiency including, but not limited to, ability to learn new computer system applications.

Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00am - 7:00pm, flexible schedule Monday - Saturday
Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree (or higher).
2+ years of professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties OR 2+ years of Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
Experience working within the Healthcare Industry, Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical Clinical setting, Medical Terminology, ICD and CPT codes, Medicare, Medicaid Services, and/or Call Center environment.
Healthcare or Insurance Benefits experience.
Experience in a Medical office billing or Medical Assistant/Clerk.
Experience with production of NOA/NOE Letters
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial programs.
Soft Skills:

Ability to multi-task.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Strong aptitude for working in a production driven environment.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
