Field Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Field Technician opening for an Environmental Consulting Firm located in the west suburbs of Chicago.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Candidates will work in teams to perform air emissions testing at a variety of different industrial client sites in order to provide consulting in regards to their compliance with EPA standards and regulations.

This includes operating high precision gas analyzers and emissions monitoring equipment.

Candidates will meet with clients to understand the scope of work, perform testing, analyze samples and take notes for detailed client reports.

This position will require travel to client sites in the Midwest region Monday-Friday. Will use company vehicle for travel: all travel time is paid for, lodging expenses are covered by company, and $47 per diem is provided for every day worked in the field.

Additional Information:

• 1.5x pay for all overtime hours
• $47 per diem for every day worked in the field.
• Candidate will receive raise to $14.00 after 6 months of employment.
• Will obtain OSHA 10-hour certification during onboarding, paid for by company.

Candidates do not need specific emissions testing experience to be hired for this role. All new employees will receive two-weeks of paid, comprehensive training during their on-boarding period.
