Summary

As a Technical Services Manager with M.E. your role will be to ensure all technical aspects of Main Event are running smoothly and drive your team to operate by our core values while having FUN! 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted revenue targets, cost of sales targets, EBITDA and payroll targets throughout the financial year
  • Maintain center appearance and structure to company standards
  • Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities
  • Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships with people inside and outside of the business
  • Recruit, hire, coach, train and continually develop of all mechanic staff
  • Hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results
  • Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggesting improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes
  • Uses understanding of the business to develop long term strategies to competitively position the company
  • Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings
  • Maintain guest focus while driving improvement and innovation
  • Skilled at measuring costs of products, services, or other cost objectives
  • Recognize core competencies of the company and make decisions to protect the company

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all facility equipment
  • Respond to trouble calls, as needed
  • Perform all scheduled and maintenance duties
  • Maintain, on an ongoing basis throughout the shift, the cleanliness of mechanics  area and the facility at large
  • Complete all shift paperwork and/or reporting requirement
  • Attend scheduled meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by Director of Technical Services

Are you ready to be a Technical Services Manager with Main Event?

  • Do you have 3 years of experience working in a similar work environment?
  • Are you at least 21 years of age?
  • Can you demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand tools and basic building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills?
  • Do you have the ability to move lane maintenance equipment (approximately 250 lbs.), climb ladders and possess the strength required to repair, clean and maintain the facility machines and equipment? Some knowledge of bowling is helpful
