Automation Personnel Services in West Houston is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Draftsman / Programmer for a Steel Manufacturing company in the North West Houston area.
Successful candidate will utilize existing CNC programming software as well as AutoCAD to interpret customer supplied drawings and sketches.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret Customer drawings in various formats to produce CNC machine language. Utilize AutoCAD, produce drawings in 2D geometry, from customer supplied Pdf, DXF, and other customer provided drawing data. Utilize ProNest CNC software to transform drawings into CNC Machine language to process material into finished parts. Candidates will utilize ProNest Software to generate multiple part nests to maximize material utilization.
Position Requirements: Minimum Technical Degree, Ability to utilize CAD (computerized Aided Design) to create 2D geometry of 2D drawings, strong math skills, written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task and able to work well with others.
Pay is depending on experience: $15-18/ hour with possibility of Overtime.
Plate burning CNC processing and 3D drawing experience will be a plus
Drug Screen and Background check Required.
