About this job

On a day to day basis you will be utilizing a double monitor to access several healthcare systems to update applications. It is a very analytical role related to data entry. It is a relaxing environment but with any position (this is a contract to hire career opportunity) you are expected to hit a certain level of output.

Quality check, verify eligibility and process for all enrollment materials for participants in the company's programs.

Receives process and verifies the accuracy of employee applications, change/renewal requests, terminations, and other documents for data entry.

Process applications/enrollment materials with high level of accuracy and ascertains appropriate level of eligibility status.

Communicates closely with internal resources to ensure all instructions are accurate and understood.
Identifies and reports all inconsistencies found in the data.

Ability to identify employee and employer documents by using a paperless system Doc-Link, verify and update information contained in Pegasus (mainframe), and process based on guidelines.

Communicate directly with clients via phone or email with confidence and authority as a rep of the department.

Maintain acceptable accuracy rates.

Provide clear and concise pending item requests to obtain missing or incomplete information via phone or email.

Ability to explain all eligibility requirements and procedures to internal and external customers.
Provide clear and concise correspondence in and outside of the department (i.e. denials, confirmation, memos, letters, etc.)

Ability to enter appropriate comments into the system (Pegasus and Doc-Link).

MUST HAVE PROOF OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA TO BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION AND BE ABLE TO TYPE 50 WPM/10000 ALPHA NUMERIC - YOU WILL BE TESTED

M-F 8-5 with lots of overtime offered.
