Machine Operators

Aerotek is hiring for machine operators for one of our premier clients in the Knoxville, TN area. These positions will start between $10 and $12/hr and are 4-month contract to hire opportunities. Benefits are available while on contract and when brought on full time. Pay period is weekly.

Job Description:

• Lamination Technicians will assist the lead operator with setting up, adjusting, and operating the Laminator.
• The laminating machine fuses two large rolls of material together to make the cover material for automotive seats.
• Critical thinking and a good eye for quality is required. Helpers will assist the lead operator with loading the large rolls of material onto the laminator.
• Adjusting rolls for proper insertion and watching material to insure process feeds properly into machine and off of machine onto new rolls.
• 1st shift is 7:00 am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift is 3:00pm to 11:30pm. 3rd shift is 11:00pm to 7:30am. Overtime is possible.
• Some strenuous pulling and straining will be required while loading and unloading rolls. Employees will stand for 8-10 hours per day up to 6 days per week. Production floor can be very hot during the summer.
