Sr. Director - Quality Assurance - Multiple Locations - Full-time / Part-time

This role will be the lead for the Portal, Service Center and Digital Apps quality assurance.  We support over 50 active applications working with the dev, bus, CIO and Solution Support & Maintenance Organization team to ensure a quality product.  We also work closely with the Quality Services organization to keep current on methodologies and tools. 
Primary Responsibilities:
 

Manage 5 QA leads, under which there are about 300 on and offshore resources
Manage the day to day activities of that team, manage escalations
Manage the budget and IOI
Manage resourcing - demand and capacity, set org goals and objectives and manage to those, motivate and support the staff
Lead the transformation to agile across the portfolio, to ensure best practices for successful deployment, manage IOI and department metrics
Lead the quality agenda for all the PSCD applications improving speed to market, and quality objectives such as defect density, leaked defects and automation

Required Qualifications:

10+ years in Quality Assurance
5+ years in a QA Leadership role (Director level)
Strong understanding of SDLC and agile process
Extensive experience with automation and other testing tools
Experience managing people onsite and offshore
Preferred Qualifications:

Great communication skills can easily present in front of executive management
Bachelor’s Degree
PM or CI certified
Experience with consulting company in QA space a plus
Managed 100+ people in IT space
Fluent in agile and waterfall methodology
