As a Rational Consultant, you would work as a part of a dynamic team involved with software, web, portal, application, and other testing for new systems and/or enhancements with a focus on both manual and/or automated testing tools, test script and test plan creation and maintenance, defect tracking and reporting.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

A subject matter expert for functional test automation using IBM Rational Functional Tester
Responsible for the creation and execution of test automation frameworks for various types of applications based on Web, Java and AS400 among others
The subject matter expert for keyword based, data driven and hybrid test automation framework
An enablement specialist for Rational CLM set of applications, responsible for Rational CLM adoption in project teams by designing and implementing tool based custom solutions
Help project teams onboarding to the Rational CLM set of tools by customizing tool set to meet requirements
Collaborating with third party cloud hosting companies to provision accounts, assign licenses, resolve issues and coordinate CLM and system upgrades
Creating reporting solutions using queries, dashboard, Jazz Reporting Server and Rational Publish Engine
Enabling tool adoption by creating training materials and providing hands-on training to project teams
Working with stakeholders to create custom solutions to manage their SDLC with Rational CLM
Responsible for identifying and raising product related defects and coordinating with IBM and cloud vendors to get resolution
Responsible for participating in any integration activities involving Rational CLM

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of test automation with Rational Functional Tester utilizing keyword and descriptive frameworks
Demonstrated Rational CLM implementation experience
7+ years of experience Modifying/customizing existing CLM implementations
5+ years of experience on boarding new teams to Rational CLM toolset
7+ years of experience with a Rational CLM cloud hosting vendor
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with MS Visio
