As the Senior IT Quality Consultant - Strategic Testing Tools, you will be part of a team focused on providing Quality and Testing best practices, tools, services, metrics and governance across all of Optum Technology Software Development & Support Services.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Expertise in software tools (Testing / Development) to help further our Agile Transformation
Will represent Optum Technology as the business owner of said tools and develop techniques of implementation and best practice across the enterprise
Will evaluate software tools in the industry and develop proof of concepts of how they can be leverage to increase quality and reduce cost within testing
Help create and drive Quality / Testing metrics with in Optum Technology Software Development & Support Services (SD&SS)
Collaborate on innovation tools, working to broaden Test Optimization techniques
Foster a customer service focused mindset that will help drive customer satisfaction and finding solutions
Optimize Software Quality Assurance resourcing strategy, achieving targeted productivity improvement across all SD&SS
Partner with SD&SS Leadership and staff on their information technology strategy, with the software quality assurance people, process, and technology in mind

Proactive learning to ensure that Optum IT is looking at newest technologies that can be utilize in the Enterprise, for example:

Predictive Modeling
Model Based Testing. This is transformational and based on the model which gets developed, it generates test cases and scripts
Focus on Machine Learning
Data Science (Datamere)
Experience in other Agile tools

Required Qualifications:


Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience with Quality Assurance / Testing

Experience with Quality Assurance testing tools, such as HP ALM, Rally, UFT, Jenkins, Cucumber

Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Preferred Qualifications:


Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

Proficiency with MS Visio

Healthcare Industry experience

Quality Assurance Team Leadership experience
